Come Pray
With Us

Every spring since 1965, Louisianans have set aside one morning to share breakfast and pray for the people who lead our state.

Since 1965

Sixty-three Springs of Praying Together.

It began in 1965 with a simple conviction: the people who lead Louisiana need prayer, and the people of Louisiana ought to be the ones offering it. Every year since, we've gathered, pastors sitting next to legislators, teachers next to CEOs, students next to grandparents, a thousand of us at a hundred tables, praying for whoever holds office that year.

And that's an important word: whoever. The breakfast is hosted by an independent 501(c)(3) and carried by volunteers, not by the governor's office. No administration has ever run it, and no party has ever owned it. The name simply tells you who we're praying for.
